Omile chooses Alabama State University

SoSportz Athlete Chidozie Omile had a tough decision but he has decided to play basketball at Alabama State University.  He's from Woodbridge, Virginia and played junior college basketball at Harford Community College where he averaged 21 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists per game.  Chidozie is a shooting guard that can take over a game at will. He can take the ball to the basket and has range to shoot from anywhere on the court. He was 17th in the nation in points per game at the Division I Junior College level.  He's ready for the challenge on the court and in the classroom at the next level! "Success Is Contagious"

Ellison will head to Indiana University of Pennsylvania

SoSportz Athlete Shanice Ellison committed to Indiana University of Pennsylvania to run track. She attended Reading High School in Pennsylvania where she ran the 60m, 200m, 4X100m relay, long jump and high jump. She's excited about running track at the college level and will be working hard to make a name for herself once she steps on campus. We wish her the best on the track and in the classroom! Xavier Pittman signs with Southwestern Assemblies of God University

SoSportz Athlete Xavier Pittman has signed a scholarship to play football at Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) which is located in Waxahachie, Texas. He will be joining fellow SoSportz basketball player Tyrone Banks Jr. He attended Ryan High School in Denton, Texas where this season he finished with 10 tackles, 3 fumble recoveries, 1 forced fumble and downed 5 punts inside the 10 yard line. Xavier helped lead the Ryan Raiders to a 10-3 record and to the Class 5A State Quarterfinals.
